Philosophy Department having two full time teachers and two SACT Teachers. The department is currently headed by Dr. Sangita Raha. From November 2022, Miss Sumana Soren will take over the charge of the department. The Philosophy Department manifests women empowerment in the sense that all teachers of the department are women.
Commitment to nurture the future citizens in a value-based and ethical environment such that they become rational and productive human capital of the nation.
Teaching the subject in an interesting and logical manner such that the students not only excel in the subject but also ingrain the various philosophical ideas in their daily life.
