Grievance Redressal Procedure

Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya is committed to providing a safe, fair and harmonious learning and work environment. The Grievance Redressal cell has been set up in Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya-- in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations 2012 for handling day to day grievances of the students, parents, and staff members.

Grievance will imply a formal complaint. It will include any kind of discontent or dissatisfaction or negative perception, arising out of anything within the Mahavidyalaya that student or parent or staff member thinks, believes, or even feels, is unfair, unjust or inequitable.
Grievance Redressal Cell tries the resolutions of grievances in a fair and impartial manner and maintains necessary confidentiality, as the case may be. Any stakeholder with a genuine grievance may approach Grievance Redressal Cell to submit his/her grievance in writing or send through e-mail to:-

Any students or parents or staff member may register a grievance in application form which has to be dropped into the Grievance Redressal Box being put up at the front wall of the Office. But grievance of serious nature may directly be communicated to the Principal. The Redressal Box will be opened after every three days at 4.00p.m. The Grievance Redressal Cell will try to resolve the grievances within 7 working days from the receipt of the grievances. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision of the Grievance Redressal Cell, he/she is free to approach the Governing Body of the Mahavidyalaya.
